Friday brights..................

Well it's Friday and all is sunny and bright around here so I thought it appropriate to share a few bright and colourful pics from around the place.......starting with a good breakfast of course................bright cup....bright plate.....and a few flower petals thrown in for good taste............(not literally).......
                                                                                 

 
Now if you cast your mind back a few, well, months probably, ago I was giving a rather tired looking foot stool a make over with some paint. The first few coats I thought I would play it safe with a pale-ish green colour but it turned out so pale-ish it really was just....boring....sooooo.........

                                                                                   

Not so boring anymore!?!...........I think not............

                                                                                   

And I am very much in love with these gorgeous stripey gumboots..............what a shame they don't belong to me.............

In the kitchen..............

So here we are....Tuesday already and Easter been and gone.....I seem to be caught in a baking frenzy at the moment so have spent alot of my Easter time in the kitchen in front of the stove.....nice place to be yes?..........

                                                                             

I baked these fun biscuits with the kids using a really quick and easy recipe from an old Donna Hay mag..........

                                                                                   

In the shape of bunnies and chicks.......of course!?!!..................

                                                                                 

A light dusting of icing sugar and we're good to go.................

                                                                                 

     

With coffee and polka dots just to top it all off nicely thanks very much...................

                                                                                 

 
Hmmmm.....I'm thinking cake may be on the agenda next....................

A (very) little easter decorating...............

Hello there....feeling a little 'eastery' are we??................

We don't usually go in for alot of easter decorations around here.....and by that I mean we don't usually decorate for easter...pretty much at all........

                                                                               

However this year I did feel the urge to throw a few things about the house to recognise and celebrate this rather significant time of year. So, a few days ago I took my urges out for a little wander through the nearby paddocks and scoured about for a couple of nicely shaped twigs.....they were not hard to find.......I also scoured through a local bargain shop and came across these cute little eggs.....duck-egg blue and all.....very cute............

A can of white spray paint and a glass bottle later..................

                                                                                                                                                                     

So so quick and easy........

I'm working on a few more little easter crafts...in the hope that I actually get them finished before easter has been and gone!
