Hello there....I hope the weekend is treating you nicely......thought I'd share a few instagram pics from the past week......let's start in the kitchen shall we......

The new bookends have found their new home.....

The postman was nice to me and delivered these scrumptious books......cannot wait to get started on something........

So...how was your week??......much planned for this coming week?......I have a list of projects, things to paint etc that just seems to keep growing......perhaps I should get off the laptop and get to work?!?.......

Happy Shopping.......

Hey there.....anyone up for some new purchases??......yes...I should think so.....

Ummm......nope....not the hydrangea....that's just thrown in because it's pretty.......but new purchases coming up.....now.......

You like??.......

I'm loving them.......found them quite by accident the other day whilst in a fab bargain shop......picked them up...looked....felt....thought....then put them back on the shelf......

Then of course proceeded to think obsessively about them for the rest of the day.......especially so when looking up at our wall of slightly bare from my manic clean up a few months back  shelves in the living room.....perfect place for them.......

Nothing better than a good, attractive AND practical purchase......

Anyone else got any to share?.....love to hear......

Tuesday pretties........

Hey there.....the sun is back and shining here.....lovely for me....not so lovely for my poor garden.....I found this little lovely peeking out at me this morning......

So I promptly ripped it out of it's peaceful little spot in the garden and whisked it into a pretty vase.......

And plonked it in the bathroom......

I'm not sure the fish is really appreciating it though.......

A work in progress......

Well good morning!......another week.......and another day with all 3 children at school.....so what to do with myself??......why re-arrange, re-decorate and much to my husband's disgust  re-paint the whole house of course.....starting with my son's bedroom (actually who am I kidding....I'm not 'starting' anywhere....there's a smallish mess in each room....I tend to jump from one thing to another.....small attention span I'm afraid.......... 

                                                                                     

So....the plan here is just a little re-arranging and adding a few new things.....we have an old timber desk/table to bring in for Mr 8 to get  his very important paper work done at (more on that soon)... (the table...not the important paperwork).....and after searching about for just-the-right desk lamp in just-the-right colour I finally stumbled across this beauty....at the supermarket?!.......Mr 8 is ridiculously excited about this lamp......ridiculously.......

Apparently it's sooo much more grown-up than his old one......(which is fine with me...I'm already on the look out for some fabric to re-cover this and stick somewhere else....bathroom?.....hallway??......see...small attention span)

 

Oh yes.......much more grown up!!.......

New bedlinen.....another bargain.....target......tarchez .......

                                                                                                                                                                   

I'm also on the hunt for a nice smallish floor rug and NICE tubs for all the crap  toys that have accumulated over the past 8 years.......

                                                                                 
 
I will definately share some pics once we have it all sorted......at the moment the floor is covered in the contents of his bookshelf which we had to remove to move the shelf and which I now must go and sort through and put back.....hhmmm now where did I put those garbage bags?!?........

Hi there......it's been rather cold and rainy here the past few days, which in this house usually leads to one thing......
